#TheDorillWay is our instructional vision for our Dorill Young Citizen Artists as they become team builders + collaborators, creators, problem-seekers and project managers who seek opportunities to have a positive impact on their local, national and global communities. Young Citizen Artists will interact and engage in Creative Maker Spaces – learner-driven, culturally responsive-sustaining spaces with multidisciplinary experiences that promote artistic and creative expression, academic enrichment and community engagement.

Dorill’s Saturday Arts Program is a free seven-hour curated multidisciplinary arts education program held at the Lower East Side Girls Club every Saturday for two semesters. The program is focused on art composition as a bridge between the arts and community engagement. NYC Youth between the ages of 9 and 18 years old are invited to participate.
Summer Arts Program is a four-week multidisciplinary arts program from July 6th – July 31st which fosters engagement and exposure to the arts for youth between the ages of 10 and 18 years old. Our aim is to expand upon young people’s artistic capabilities + creativity, broaden their awareness of the arts, and encourage them to recognize high school/college prep and professional opportunities in arts-related fields.
The Dorill Initiative believes every young artist and the community they live in deserve to reach their limitless potential – we can not do this important work without your support. There are various ways to support our organization.
