Public School Program
Public School Program at Dorill Initiative targets public schools focusing on the importance of arts integration in the classroom and understanding the role art plays in our society. Our workshop utilizes education in literary, visual and the performing arts to teach children how the arts were used to impact change throughout our history. Students will actively participate in team building exercises, inter-generational dialogue, performing arts classes, and creative activities that will improve their artistic capabilities, drive their problem-solving skills, inform effective decision-making and open new horizons for ambition and intelligence. Classroom teachers at the public schools we serve are also asked to participate in workshop activities because we truly believe our public school program will also improve not only the student-to-student relationship, but most importantly the teacher-to-student relationship.
