about the event

Dorill Initiative launched our Pop Up Art Show series called, “Remixing (Im)Possibilities,” to present emerging visual artists, while also connecting the visual and performing art forms. The proceeds raised at this event will support our current programming and provide more visual art opportunities for our youth.

This years Pop Up Art Show has been dedicated to Black women and their contributions to art, society, and history. Toni Morrison wrote “Black women are the touchstone by which all that is human can be measured.” No truer words were spoken as we are products of their love and dedication. Come enjoy works by 10 prominent black female artists as well as Black female vendors who services their communities with purpose. The night will also feature emerging works by black female performances artists across multiple disciplines. It certainly will be night of culture and Fun!
