In an era where At-Promise Youth bear the brunt of an escalating mental health crisis and the systematic defunding of arts education robs them of essential pathways to self-discovery and healing, the Dorill Initiative rises with the heart to disrupt. We are resolute in crafting spaces where youth can defy the odds, find their voices, and break free from cycles of oppression. Through radical creativity and a relentless commitment to change, we stand with our Young Citizen Artists as they reimagine what’s possible—for themselves, their communities, and the world.

We are stepping up to expand the Dorill Arts Program across New York City, creating brave and safe spaces where Young Citizen Artists—especially those from overlooked communities—can dream, heal, and build a future that they shape on their own terms. Our programs equip them with the tools and resources to channel their voices, confront systemic challenges, and reimagine the world around them.
We will stand alongside our youth, personally support them as they transform adversity into artistry, and foster the leaders of tomorrow who will fight for social justice, equity, and community restoration.
